Terri Davis

Edmond School Director

I was born in Kansas, but was raised in Colorado. I made Oklahoma my home in 1997 and have loved it ever since. My husband and I have been married for over 30 years, and we have two grown boys who are my pride and joy. In my free time, I love to spend time with them, go to OU or OSU football games, and sit on my back patio with good friends.

I majored in accounting in college, but found my way into early childhood development when I became a stay-at-home mom. I took the job to get out of the house a couple of hours a week with my boys, and ended up falling in love. I started as a toddler teacher, and since then I have done virtually every other job there is in the field. The Director job has been my favorite, as I get to work with the business side while getting to know families and children.

I am very hands-on in all aspects of the job. My goal is for families to feel the love we have for their children and know that they are getting the best care in the business.

Our Programs

Our infant program encourages children from the ages of birth to one year to explore the world around them. My Small Wonders accomplishes this with specialized toys and activities, as well as an introduction to infant sign language.

Our toddler program guides children aged one year as they transition into learning to walk, transitioning to table food, and sleeping in cots. With positive guidance in a structured environment, toddlers have a safe space to learn and develop.

Our twos program is for children aged 24-36 months. Here, we begin to introduce concepts of dramatic play, creative expression, and socialization, as well as hands-on exploration and playground time.

Through hands-on exploration, curious three-year-olds experience basic life skills that help build character and develop critical thinking.  Our well-rounded curriculum satisfies inquisitive minds and allows teachers to spend quality learning time with each child.

Our fours program expands on the foundation built in your child’s earlier years and sets them up with a strong foundation for their time in Pre-K. Our teachers provide personal care and guidance, and we continue to expand on concepts of digital literacy.

Our Pre-K curriculum is designed to set your child up for success in elementary school, with secure transportation from your child’s school provided by My Small Wonders. Focuses include development of character, music, and the arts.

Using the Five Building Blocks (digital learning platforms, small-group learning stations, S.T.E.A.M., social-emotional learning, and physical health and development), our school age curriculum promotes exploration and increased potential as your child reaches school age.
