Our Story

My Small Wonders’ original location was opened in 2008 in the Coffee Creek community of Edmond, Oklahoma. The center was later purchased in 2011 by Scott and Tammy Werner, who served as the President and Vice President of My Small Wonders, Inc for 10 years. Their driving force was the desire to bring families and their community a safe, educational, and fun place for children to learn and grow. In 2021, My Small Wonders became part of the Child Development Schools family, offering the same top-rated care giving services that we are known for, serving families with children ages 6 weeks to elementary age.

“As a leader in the childcare industry, Child Development Schools is proud to have My Small Wonders join our family of high quality, early education providers. All schools across our organization are committed to delivering on our most important mission to give every child a great start in life.”

In 2014, our Edmond center expanded its footprint with a 7,000 square foot addition. This provided nine additional classrooms, a brand-new indoor play space, an additional outdoor playground, and a FEMA rated safe room.

In 2021 and beyond, our network of centers continues to grow. We have joined forces with Child Development Schools, a leading provider of early education, to continue to expand and bring our mission to even more families and their communities. Our most recent additions to our My Small Wonders family are centers in the great state of Texas in both Fort Worth and Dallas.

Additionally, My Small Wonders is looking to the future for our continued expansion. Keep an eye out for a My Small Wonders location coming to your area. See you soon!
