FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! All childcare providers are required to be licensed and in good standing with the governing authorities in the state in which they operate. To make certain of this, most states also require semi-annual and annual licensing visits to make certain that compliance is maintained.

If you have any additional questions regarding licensing, please feel free to contact your My Small Wonders location to learn more.

Depending on the capacity and availability of each individual school, there may be a waitlist to get in.

We suggest submitting your application as early as is convenient for you to minimize any time spent on the waitlist. This also means your child will be able to begin their time with us as early as possible.

In order to officially join our waitlist, there is a one-time, non-refundable $50 fee incurred. This fee is then applied to the $150 family registration fee.

My Small Wonders offers a generous sibling discount for families who have more than one child enrolled with us. We also offer discounts to staff who also have children in our care.

My Small Wonders provides a fun environment that allows for the emotional, social, and physical development for children, but we also utilize a research-based curriculum, backed by child care and developmental experts.

At My Small Wonders, we believe that the heart of an educator is the most important attribute. As such, our staff members have a true love and passion for childcare. While many of our teachers have degrees, certifications, and other professional qualifications, none of this alone meets our standards. They must be called to this profession. They must be teachable. They must love children. To our team members, this is more than just a job.

In alignment with state requirements, we require all children to be fully vaccinated unless a qualifying exemption is approved by your state’s Health Department. Exclusions from compliance are allowable on an individual basis for medical contraindications and reasons of conscience.

Your child’s safety is our number one priority. Every aspect of our campus revolves around ensuring and keeping the children in our care safe. We have numerous health and safety protocols in place, including but not limited to:

  • Intruder lockdown and protocol
  • Multi-transition protocols for every time your child leaves or arrives in a new area
  • Secure HD video cameras throughout the facility

Everything has been carefully and tediously researched and incorporated into our top-of-industry facility plans. To read more about My Small Wonders’ safety procedures, visit our Health & Safety page.
