Health & Safety

Safety in Every Regard

Your child will spend their days at My Small Wonders being taught and cared for as if they were our own. We’ve taken extensive care to ensure that this sentiment extends to our safety and health practices. Your child will be safe and cared for, no matter where they are – whether it be on our buses, playgrounds, or classrooms.

COVID-19 Policy

We are grateful that families continue to put their trust and confidence in us during the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and well-being of children, employees, and families is our top priority, and My Small Wonders has implemented enhanced safety protocols across all center locations. We take care to follow the latest protocols from the governing authorities with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic in order to keep all families and our community safe.

Keypad Entry

Every entrance and exit door on each My Small Wonders campus is equipped with an electronic keypad lock. These doors stay locked at all times, and ensure that unwelcome visitors are effectively kept out of our buildings.

These keypads are also encoded with emergency codes that trigger a silent alarm upon entry. In the event of a real emergency, your child will be in good hands at My Small Wonders.

Additional Safety Measures

My Small Wonders leads children through the typical tornado and fire drills. We also have structured evacuation plans and ongoing training with our staff to prevent and assist in case of emergencies.

We also have center wide policies against the combining of age groups – your child will stay with their classmates throughout the day, every day.

Nutrition

Our curriculum is heavily based on expert research, and we’ve applied the same principles to our snack and meal offerings! My Small Wonders has worked tirelessly with several experienced dieticians to create a rotating menu that achieves three main goals:

  • Providing your child with nutritious options every day
  • Creating menus that children will actually enjoy eating
  • 4-week rotating menus create diversity – kids will never get bored of eating the same thing!
