History of My Small Wonders

My Small Wonders was opened in 2008 in the Coffee Creek community of Edmond, Oklahoma initially serving ages birth through early elementary and licensed by DHS for 119 children.  The center was purchased in 2011 by Scott and Tammy Werner who serve as the President and Vice President of My Small Wonders Inc.

scott-and-tammyScott and Tammy have been residents of Edmond for 20+ years and have been actively involved in the lives of thousands of families across the metro area.  Scott served for 5+ years as the Executive Director of Children’s Ministries at LifeChurch.tv, their home church and was affectionately known as Pastor Scott to thousands of children.  They are excited to continue partnering with parents through the center and are actively involved in all aspects of its operations daily.  In 2014, My Small Wonders welcomed Danniel Green as the center director.  Danniel has extensive experience in the industry and shared the same vision and methodology as the Werner’s making it a great fit.

In 2014 the center expanded its care by adding on a 7,000 s.f. addition providing room for growth through 9 additional classrooms, an indoor play space, an additional playground and a FEMA rated safe room.  This addition allows the Coffee Creek center to offer care for nearly 200 children.  The management team is grateful for the history that has led up to this point and extremely excited about the future and impact that is being made in the Edmond community through My Small Wonders.
