September Teacher of the Month

Miss. Robyn!

Miss Robyn has been with MSW for over a year now and is now our cook but she has also been an Assistant Teacher and Floater and loves to be with the kids.
She is from Muskogee, Oklahoma. She now lives in Edmond but visits "home" frequently.

She has been attending the University of Central Oklahoma for three years now, majoring in Education. She plans to be a Coach when she graduates.

In Miss Robyn’s spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, a sport that she has played her entire life! “I enjoy being outside and coaching younger athletes,” she says.
Congratulations Miss Robyn, keep up the good work!

Classroom Realignment

Oct. 5th, 2009

My Small Wonders is in the process of repurposing and realigning some of our classrooms so that we can offer spots to more families that need them (see openings in the right column).
You may notice changes within the next couple of weeks while we prepare for the transition. We are making every effort to keep students with their current teachers whenever possible but some may need to move up or back; we will, of course, take into account what is best for each child on a case by case basis.
Each affected family will be contacted by a member of center management and the necessary changes will be implemented on Oct 5th, 2009.
These changes are necessary to increase enrollment and keep MSW competitive in these trying economic times. Thank you for your help and understanding.

Yankee Candle Fundraiser

Now – Oct 16th

My Small Wonders is trying a fundraiser to help our teachers buy some optional equipment for their classrooms that we don’t have in our budget. Packets will be sent home with details and order forms.
The fundraiser is completely optional and just for fun but your help is very much appreciated! Each classroom will receive 40% of their sales to buy extra supplies, toys, or equipment. In addition, the classroom with the highest sales (averaged by student count) will receive a special prize and recognition for their hard work! Good luck!
